Rev. Robert McDaniel passed away March 31, 1989 at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He was 75 years old and an Indian minister in Tushka.

Survivors include: his wife, Minerva McDaniel of the home in Tushka; two sons: Daniel McDaniel of Idabel and Gideon McDaniel of Durant; three daughters, Della Johnson of Durant, Miriam John of Bokchito, and Sylvia Barcenses of Denison; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Also , one brother Willie Jack of Broken Bow; three stepsons: Wayne Fulsom of Tacoma, WA., Easton Fulsom of Mescelora, NM., and Bobby Fulsom of Hutchinson, KS.; one stepdaughter, Rosilee Bohanon of Tushka; 13 step-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.
