Lena Ruth Meashintubby, 63, of Honobia, Oklahoma was born March 2, 1932 at Honobia. She passed away April 30, 1995 at St Edwards Medical Center of Fort Smith Arkansas. She had lived in the Honobia area all her life. She was a member of the Rock Creek Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Joe, of the home; three daughters, ary Lou Meashintubby and Brenda Medina, both of Talihina, Oklahoma and Doretha James of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; six sons, Paul Samuels, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Nelson Samuel of Honodia, Eugene James of Tulsa and Calvin James of Tulsa; one brother, Norris Samuels of Oklahoma City; tow sisters, Jan Francis and Mildred Sam, both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; thirty-four grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren numerous friends and loved ones

Services were held at Rock Creek Presbyterian church May 3 at Honobia.
