Homer Gene Meador, age 52, on Norman, Oklahoma died June 13, 1997 in Norman.

Mr. Meador was born on November 29, 1944 in Oklahoma City to Homer Audie and Margaret Dura Rowe Meador. He graduated from Wynnewood High School in Wynnewood, Oklahoma in 1963 and from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma in 1971. On July 30, 1971 he married Sally Jean Webster in Ada. They moved to Norman from Oklahoma City in January of 1972. In august of 1972 he went to work for the University of Oklahoma where he was currently working.

He was an avid fisherman and semi- pro-photographer. He also loved rock collecting and Indian artifacts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer in 1947.

Mr. Meador was survived by his wife, Jean of the home; mother, Margaret Meador of Davis, Oklahoma; two brothers, Bobby James Meador, Sr. of Wynnewood, and Byron Rowe Meador of Ravia, Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews.
