Harold Loyd Merryman , 57, of Talihina, Oklahoma died on January 5, 1996 in his home as he had wished.

He was born on February 4, 1938 in Bengal, Oklahoma to Gabe and Zoa Jane (Justice) Merryman. He was honorably discharged in the Bengal, Talihina area most of his life. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a loving cook to his family. He was of the Assembly of God faith. He married Reba Mulkey in Durant, Oklahoma on April 20, 1979.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jimmy Merryman and his son, Kendall Roger Merry man.

He is survived by his wife, Reba, of the home; five daughters, Kim Merryman of Nacogdoches, Texas, Leslie Duncan of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma, Shelli Walters, Rene Sennett of Indianola, Oklahoma and Robin Hubbard of Ore City, Texas; three sons, Vincent Merryman of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Robert Hubbard of Whitesboro and Rex Hubbard of Copperas Cove, Texas; one sister, Mary Wilson of Stigler Oklahoma; four brothers, Denver Merryman of Waldron, Arkansas, Wayne of Colbert, Oklahoma, Myron Merryman of Bengal and Harlis Merry man of Weatherford, Texas 10 grandchildren and two on the way, many nieces and nephews and his faithful sidekick, Pepper.

Our daddy , with his red face, blue eyes and reddish hair, was proud of his Choctaw Heritage and he instilled this in his children/ we miss him.
