Preston Wade Lemons passed away on October 17, 1997 at the age of 38 at his home near Watonga Oklahoma. He was born on March 23, 1959 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

He moved to Tupelo Oklahoma in 1967 and then to Yukon Oklahoma in 1970. Where he graduated from high school and was a member of the Yukon FFA and received the Star Farmer Award.

Wade married Shawnna Smith on April 25, 12990 and moved to Watonga in 1992, where he worked as a diesel mechanic and driver.

His parents are Mr. John Willard Lemons, Sr. and Mrs. Velma Jane Pebworth Lemons.

He is preceded in death by original enrollee, grandfather, Thomas Jefferson Pebworth.

Wade is survived by his wife, Shawnna Lemons of the home; Zane Thomas Lemons and Amie Elizabeth Smith of Watonga, Joshua Wade Lemons and Jennifer Dawn Radgosky of Mustang Oklahoma; parents J.W. and Velma Lemons of Yukon; three brothers, John Lemons, Jr. of Yukon, Mike Yogi Lemons of Arkansas and Russell Lemons of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two sisters, Janette Smith of Yukon and Laura DeAnn Paul of Oklahoma City; and father and mother in law Bob and Sandy Smith of Geary.
