Orble Frank Labor was born on June 3, 1917 in Caddo, Oklahoma to William Labor and Mary (Tyler) Labor.

He passed away on June 20, 1997 in Allen Texas, at his daughters residence. Orble and his wife, Edith resided in Durant, Oklahoma.

Orble as a retired Fire Chief was a member of the Durant Fire Department for 21 years and Chief for five years. He was with the Masonic Lodge for over 25 years.

He was precede din death by his first wife, Helen Winfred Smith Labor on November 16,k 1984; his parents William Henry Labor and Mary Easter Labor, one brother, William Labor and one sister, Rachel Labor.

Survivors include five brothers, Chester Labor of Hartshorne, Oklahoma, Roy Labor of McAlester, Oklahoma, Lois (Peachie) Labor of Pittsburg, Oklahoma , John Labor of McCurtain, Oklahoma, Jim Labor of Red Oak, Oklahoma; two sisters, Opal Oldham of Antlers, Oklahoma, Nita Faye Wade of Antlers; two sons, Wyndel Labor and Orble Frank Labor, Jr. both of Mead Oklahoma; four daughters, Marquita Westerman of Allen, Texas, Juanita Mitchell of Plano, Texas, Stabr Terrazas of Blue Ridge, Texas and Karen White of Lilburn, Georgia; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
