Mildred Ruth (Scott) Lang, 61, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, June 24, 2000 at her residence. A former lnogtime Atoka County resident, she was born January 30, 1939 in Atoka, the daughter of Jessie Woodrow and Mabel (Nowabbi) Scott. She attended school at Prairie Grove in Atoka County and Limestone Gap, and attended nursing school in Norman, Oklahoma.

She married Floyd Eugene Lang on January 19, 1960 in DeQueen, Arkansas. She was a member and elder of Coal Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a nurse many years at Atoka Memorial Hospital and Atoka Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband on June 24, 1988; her parents, and a brother, Simon Gibson.

Survivors include two sons, Eugene Lang and wife, Carol, of Atoka and Terry Lang of Madill, Oklahoma; four daughters, Glenda Tatum and husband, Rick, and Amy Barone and husband, Joe, all of Perry, Cheryl Horn of Oklahoma City and Brenda Lang of Atoka; 13 grandchildren, Daniel Lang, Brent Lang, Gina Lang, Jessica Lang, James Horn, Rikki Tatum, Melissa Lang, Stormy White, Jessie White, Amber Lang, Willaim Graves, Jerome Graves and Garvin Barone; two great-grandchildren, Jaden Perry and Alexia Baker; two sisters, Norma Cole of Atoka and Betty Johnson of Moyers, Oklahoma; three brothers, Leroy, Charles and Steve Scott, all of Atoka; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear loved friends.
