Margaret Anita Crabtree Keplar, 74, of Raleigh, North Carolina died on July 24, 1995. She was born to the late Ernest and Mable Crabtree on April 18, 1921 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Her father Ernest and is mother, Georgia Ann Barnett Crabtree, wife of David Carlton Crabtree, were original Choctaw enrollees. She grew up in Oklahoma and Texas graduating from East Central College in Ada, Oklahoma. Her life was dedicated to her family and music and art as a painter, sculptor, poet and mother. She celebrated 50 years of marriage this year to her husband Kenneth W. Keplar. Margaret was proud of her Choctw Heritage Sh was a descendant of Louis Durant, Syllen Durant Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor Airington, Elizabeth Airington, Barnett and Georgia Barnett Crabtree. The Durants and Taylors removed to Indian territory from Mississippi along the Trail of Tears in 1845. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth W. Keplar of Raleigh, North Carolina; son Kenneth Wyler Keplar ad wife, Connie of Raleigh, daughters, Kathryn Km Chambers of Athens, Ohio, Anne-Lynn K. Samole and husband Dr. Yale M Samole of Miami Beach, Florida, Frank Crabtree,
