Juanita (Denison) Jenkins, 90, of North Canton, Ohio, passed away January 27, 2005. She was born November 17, 1914, in Garvin, Oklahoma, to Dr. B.L. Denison and original enrollee Susan (Oakes) Denison.

Juanita graduated from Idabel, Oklahoma, High School and attended Oklahoma College for Women. Juanita married Harold Jenkins on November 28, 1935. They relocated from Jackson, Ohio, in 1998 to The Waterford in North Canton.

Juanita was a longtime member of the Jackson First Presbyterian Church, the Progress Club and was a RoAnn in Jackson, Ohio. She served, at different times, as both the clerk and the assistant clerk of the Jackson County Board of Elections.

She and Harold belonged to Fairgreens Country Club for more than 40 years. In addition to playing golf, Juanita was an avid bridge player all of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Roy, Harry, Hilliard, Wyota Sue and Charles.

Survivors include her husband; children, Janice Baker (Richard) of North Canton, Susan Jenkins of Waynesville, North Carolina, and Michael Jenkins (Mary) of Kent, Ohio; grandchildren, Kimberly Perduk (Ambrose) of North Canton, Kathryn Bush of Maderia Beach, Florida, Susan Nauman (Mark) of Coos Bay, Oregon.
