Finis Ewing Impson, 75, of Lawton, passed away May 14, 2008. He was born on July 29, 1936, to Dickey and Myrtle Impson.

Mr. Impson was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp., during the Korean War. He worked as a barber, maintenance worker for the Indian hospital, and in later years as a cab driver. Most of all, he was a good father and a loving brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Dickey John Impson Jr., David Warren Impson and Preston Wayne Impson; and one sister, Mildred Walker.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Impson Konowa; daughter, Cindy George; son, Paul Impson and wife Kimberly; five grandchildren, Shane Impson, Lillian and Lidia George, and Christopher and Colby Impson; stepson, Calvin Harjo and his children, Katrina, Casey and Mariah Harjo; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Shane, Hunter Franklin and Jan Lee Impson; six sisters, Leona Wilson of Chickasha, Emma Nelson, Sophia Impson and Margie Davis, all of McAlester, Claudine Wheeler of Mesquite, Texas, and Elizabeth Impson of Talihina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Finis Ewing Impson
