Funeral services for Robert C. Bob Impson of Antlers were held April 24, 1989.

Impson was born September 27, 1931 in Finley. He passed away April 21, 1989.

He served as the Pushmataha County Sheriff since January of 1989. He was an Oklahoma Highway Patrolman for 21 years, member of the Pryor Masonic Lodge, the Muskogee Shrines, and served in the Army Reserves for seven years, active M.P. for two years and inactive for one year. He married Marcheta Teague June 2, 1953.

Survivors include: wife, Marcheta of the home; two sons: Robert K. Impson of Ardmore and Richard K. Impson of Idabel; two daughters-in-law, Cindy and Creda; his mother, Aline Impson of Antlers; and five grandsons.

The OHP Honor Guard served in the graveside ceremonies with a 21 gun salute and the folding and presentation of the American Flag to Mrs. Impson
