Thomas Patrick Harley, 81, of Oklahoma City passed away March 22, 2000. He was born June 19, 1918 in Bristow, Oklahoma to Patrick Joseph and Anna Teresa Harley. Tom graduated from Bristow High School and later attended Oklahoma State University and University of Oklahoma where he received a Juris Doctorate degree.
In his younger years, Tom was a bronic rider in rodeos. He served his country in World War II, was a prosecutor in the District Attorney’s office in Oklahoma City and later in private practice. He was loved by his family and many friends. Everyone knew him as a great storyteller.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Jason Patrick Pitzer.
Survivors include his wife, Kate Harley; brother, Paul Harley of Cushing, Oklahoma; children, Ann Johnstone, Kay Harley and Pat Harley, all of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Clint Pitzer, Jordan Jacob and Luke Harley, all of Oklahoma City; great-grandchild, Anna Pitzer of Oklahoma City, and cousin, John Harley of Michigan.
