Funeral services were held February 8, 1991 for Salinia Elizabeth (Washington) Heflin, 68, of Heavener, Oklahoma. Services were held at First Baptist Church in Wister, Oklahoma. Mr Heflin was a homemaker and had lived in the area all of her life. She was very proud of her Choctaw heritage. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roney, in April 1989. Survivors include four daughter; Wilma Sullivan and Frances Payne, both of Heavener, Oklahoma, Wanda Long of Clayton, Oklahoma, and Dorothy Hughes of Eunice, New Mexico; one brother, David Washington of Arlington, Texas; one sister, Lavada (Washington) Byaus of Arlington, Texas; step-sister Mary Richardson of Arlington, Texas; and one aunt, Nancy Roberts of Heavener, Oklahoma. Mrs. Heflin had nine grandchildren and four great=grandchildren. Interment was in Maxey Cemetery in Wisner, Oklahoma.
