Lucy Lee Hickman, 97, formerly of Stigler, Oklahoma passed away in Gladstone, Missouri. Miss Hickman was a veteran of World War II having served in the Yeomanettes selling Liberty Bonds from 1917 to 1918. She then worked in Muskoge,, Oklahoma at the federal building from 1918 to 1920. From there she went to Washington, D.C. and retire in 1967 as a procurement supervisor for the Department of Veteran Affairs. She movd to Gladstone to be near relatives. She is survived by a sister, Katherine Seagraves of Kansas City, Missouri; three neohews, Ben Seagraves of Kansas City, Eugene Hickman Michie of Orlando, Florida and George A. Michie, Jr. of McAlester, Oklahoma; six nieces, Beverly Sue Alcott and Jennifer Rickman, both of Germany, Lucy Joe Krumdieck of Fredericksburg, Texas, Beth Kold of Harlengen, Teas, Madelyn Specht of Lawton, Oklahoma and Catherine Long of Moncetous, Texas; and one sister-in-law, Vivian Hickman of Stigler.
