Doyal James Hancock (Ret. CPO) age 68, of Krebs, Oklahoma passed away at his home.

Doyal was born May 1, 1929 in Featherston, Oklahoma. He was the son of Jefferson Lee and Annie Ensharkey Hancock. He attended school at Jones Academy and married Louise Carter and she preceded him in death. He latter married Lorraine Shelly in 1971 and had worked AAP, retiring in 1987.

He joined the U.S. Navy in June 1946 and served during World War II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam.

He was a life member of the VFW Post NO 1098 and a member of the U.S. Fleet Reserve.

Doyal was preceeded in death by his parents; his second wife; a son, Carl Hancock and a sister, Mary Opal.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and James house of McAlester, Oklahoma, Darlene and Ken Moser of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Tina and Frank Kemper of Mannford, Oklahoma; son and daughter-in-law, William and Sharon Hancock of McAlester, Oklahoma; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Carl Jameson of Crowder, Oklahoma, Everlyn Hancock, Jean and Doug Cameron and Virginia and Louie Sam, all of McAlester, Oklahoma, Jurline and Gene McGill of Kiowa, Oklahoma and Betty and Robert Carr of McAlester; two brothers and sister-inlaw, Solemn and Gladys Hancock of El Reno, Nevada and Walter and Sarah Hancock of McAlester; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild
