Solomon Frazier, 83, of Talihina, Oklahoma, passed away June 21, 2004. He was born March 9, 1921, in Nashoba, Oklahoma, to Aben and Ellen Cooper Frazier.

Solomon and Irene LeFlore were married in 1939 in Nashoba. He served in the Army during World War II. He lived most of his adult life in Dallas, Texas, returning home to Talihina in the early 1990s. He was a member of Big Lick Methodist Church in Divide, Oklahoma, and was well-known for his singing and piano playing and as a published composer. Solomon enjoyed being with his sons in the Frazier Quartet.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and a son, Lawrence.

Survivors include four sons, Willkie Ellis Frazier of Talihina, William Julian Frazier of Mayfield, Kentucky, Luke Frazier of Mesquite, Texas, and Doyce Olen Frazier of Dallas; one daughter, Shirley Zasimowich of Dallas; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; three brothers, Abe, Leroy and Randle; three sisters, Cora, Amy and Agnes; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was well loved and will be missed by many friends.
