Cleo Irene Babe Fennell, 93, of Abilene, Texas, passed away March 10, 2005, in Oklahoma. She was born May 26, 1911, in Soper, Oklahoma, to A.A. and Amelia Gardner Ferguson.

She married Hubert W. Fennell on August 1, 1931, in Hugo, Oklahoma. They resided in Soper, Oklahoma, until 1950 when they moved to Willard, Missouri. In 1953, she moved to Kansas City, Kansas, and resided there until 1976 before moving to Abilene.

Mrs. Fennell was very active in the Rose Park Senior Citizens group for 25 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Willard.

Survivors include one son, Phillip Fennell of Springfield, Missouri; three daughters, LaJoy Thackerson of Abilene, Maxine Graham of Valliant, Oklahoma, and Mary Price of Hugo; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, George Ferguson of Soper.
