Robert Douglas, 42, of Durant passed away September 14, 2007, at Medical Center of Oklahoma. He was born October 12, 1964, in Mooreland to Gene and Marjorie Airington Douglas.

He was married June 21, 1989, in Durant to Stacey Eads. He was a foreman for McCoy Tree Service.

Rob loved to playing guitar, telling jokes, fishing, hunting, and helping friends and neighbors when they needed it. He enjoyed his job and co-workers. Rob loved his family and spending time with them.

He was preceded in death by his mother; a sister, Cynthia Douglas; a daughter, Shania Douglas on November 11, 1997; grandparents, Clarence and Agnes Airington; and an uncle, Charles Bates.

Survivors include his wife of the home; son, Britt Douglas, and daughters, Makayla and Ashlyn Douglas, all of Durant; sister, Susan McCarty and husband Ed of Atoka; aunt, Carolyn Bates of Durant; uncles, James Garland Airington and wife Patsy of Durant, Bobby Airington and wife Rita and Johnny Airington and wife Wilma, all of Woodward; brothers-in-law, Jason Eads and wife Rachel of Arkansas and Brian Gray of Durant; and father-in-law Tommy Eads and wife Donna of Yukon
