F.A. Dumas, 81, was a lifelong Wilson, Oklahoma resident. He passed away July 3, 1997, at the Ardmore Veterans Center. F.A. was born April 19, 1916, in Reck, Oklahoma to Robert Bob L. and Bessie Thompson Dumas.

F.A. was a retired oil field worker. He attended school at Zaneis, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Lillie Baker Mayton, July 12, 1947, at Gainesville, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie of the home; one daughter, Karleeti Stewart, of Fort Worth, Texas; one son, Robert of Woodard, Oklahoma; a step-daughter, Treva Smith of Wilson; two step-sons, Chuck and L.D. Mayton, both of Ardmore, Oklahoma; two sisters, Alice Reynolds of California and Carol Allen of Lone Grove, Texas; six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren two great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
