Alfred Lee Daniels, 86, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away March 2, 2009, in The Woodlands, Texas. He was born March 18, 1922, in Stuart, Oklahoma, to Otto and Audrey Daniels.

Mr. Daniels served his country during World War II in the Navy, then re-enlisted for 16 years. He worked in the field of pharmaceutical sales before re tiring in 1983. He was a very outgoing, friendly person and enjoyed playing golf during his retirement years with his best friend, Herman Bell.

Alfred and Mildred were residents of Corpus Christi for 57 years and during the last two years, resided at Garden Estates Retirement Community, where they made many wonderful friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Mildred Jean Daniels, and a brother, Clyde Lester Daniels.

Survivors include his children, Alfred William Daniels and wife Debra of Muskogee and Lynda Carol Seitz and husband Clyde of The Woodlands; grandsons, Benjamin Lee Daniels and wife Sandra of Muskogee and Daniel Austin Seitz of Fort Worth; two great-grandsons, Nick and Leland; and sister-in-law, Ruth Irene Gesler of The Woodlands.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the men of the Choctaw Color Guard for performing military ceremonies at the graveside service.
