Elizabeth Corbin, 78, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away August 23, 1999. She was born on May 26, 1921 in Wister, Oklahoma to Nettie Free Dorrough and Blant Dorrough.

She married George Corbin on March 15, 1943. They enjoyed many happy years together until his death. At that time she moved to Tulsa to be with her family. But in her heart Heavener and the beautiful countryside of Southeastern Oklahoma remained home.

Among the many things she loved were history, hunting artifacts, flower gardening, all of God’s little creatures and her Indian heritage.

She was very proud of her Indian heritage and taught all of her family about their heritage. She was an avid collector of Indian artifacts and she donated many artifacts to the Kerr Museum in Poteau, Oklahoma.

She is survived by one brother, one sister, and many loving family members. She richly blessed our lives and she will be greatly missed.
