Ruby Carlene Bullock, 87, of Odessa, Texas passed away Sunday, May 21, 2000 at her residence. She was born April 8, 1913 in Madill, Oklahoma to Hattie Bourne and Raymond Palmour. Her grandmother was Carrie Arbuckle of Oklahoma City.
Mrs, Bullock moved to Odessa in 1947 from Abilene, Texas. She had been a nurse for 43 years and was a longtime and faithful member of Wesley Evangelical Methodist Church.
She married William Melvin Bullock on January 31, 1942. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1953.
Survivors include sons, Bobby Dixon and wife, Sandy, of Paradise, Texas, W.C. Dixon and wife, Becky, of Odessa, George Bullock of Basstrop, Texas and Melvin Bullock and wife, Margret, of Odessa; brothers, J.L. Palmour of Lubbock, Texas and Raymond Palmour of Abilene, Texas; sister, Carrie Harrison of Pasadena; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
