Ronald Andrew Ron Berry, 59, passed away November 22, 2006, at Ardmore. He was born June 26, 1947, at Ardmore to Andrew and Gertrude Peters Berry.

Ron graduated from Plainview High School in 1966 and attended college at Lawrence, Kansas. He worked for E. Don Flannagan as a car salesman. Ron was a member of the Jaycees, working with Jaycees Rodeo. He was a member of Blue Lodge #31. He received his Master Mason degree by the Indian Degree team of the State of Oklahoma and served as past master in 1995. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite and also a Shriner clown.

Ron was on the Chickasaw Tribe bowling team and was in the past a baseball coach for youth and an umpire. He was an avid sports fan and a supporter of OU. He was involved with adult co-ed softball.

He was preceded in death by his father and one niece, Lisa Flowers.

Survivors include his mother of Ardmore; sisters, Dewana and her husband, Ted Smith, of Ardmore and Debby and her husband, Dale Taylor, of Lone Grove; brothers, Tommy Berry and Dale Berry, both of Ardmore; nieces, Kara Payne of Lone Grove and Leah Berry of Little Rock, Arkansas; nephews, Teddy, Jody and Cody Smith, all of Ardmore, Chris Taylor of Lone Grove and Michael Berry Parker of Ardmore; grand-nieces, Tiffany Smith of Tulsa and Marlee Taylor of Lone Grove; grand-nephews, Jayden and Tyler Smith of Ardmore; and his K-9 companion, Little Man.
