Mary Henson Barker, 95, was born near Quinton, Oklahoma on December 20, 1899 to W.H. and Lena Henson. She passed away on August 11, 1995 at Grand Lake Manor Nursing Home in Grove, Oklahoma. She was a Baptist and an original enrollee. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Barker in 1981 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and by six children. Her family was longtime residents of the Quinton area. Survivors include one sister, Sarah Barker of Wichita, Kansas; six children, Maria Hammontree of Dumas, Texas; Helen Smith of Jay, Oklahoma; Ed Barker of Blue Springs, Missouri; Jimmie Spicer of Abilene, Texas; Wayne Barker of Sand Springs Oklahoma and Kenneth Barker of Kansas City, Missouri; two nephews, Wallace Barker of Wichita; Mac Barker of Stilwell, Oklahoma; three nieces, Barbara Bryant of Odessa, Texas, Mildred Brozell of Wichita and Ethel Hill of Wichita; 21 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
