Homey Ray Bryant of Collinsville, Oklahoma died Jan. 26, 1989 at his home. He was born July 7, 1937 in Minden, La. To Arnold and Connie Crandord Bryant. He attended Allen Schools and was a self employed truck driver.

He was a member of Allen First Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth of the home; one daughter, Linda Layton, Arlington, Texas; one son, Homer R. Bryant, Jr. Arlington, Tx.; one stepson Wayne Glover, Tulsa; his mother Connie Bryant, Allen; one brother Jack Bryant, Schulter; one sister, Arlana Rohrbough, Iowa Park, Tx.; and five grandchildren. His late grandmother was Mary E. Cranford.
