Dixie Oehler Bundy, 86, of Sherman, Texas, passed away June 26, 2008, at Texoma Medical Center. She was born on August 29, 1921, in Broken Bow to Dick and Lela Stiles Oehler.
She attended elementary school in Broken Bow and high school in Sulphur. She went on to East Central State University in Ada, earning a B.S. degree in speech. She married Arthur H. Bundy on December 14, 1975, in Pauls Valley. He passed away on May 20, 1978.
A devoted Methodist, she served as a missionary teacher in the Yucca Valley of California and on the foreign field in Singapore. After retiring to Broken Bow, she moved to Sherman in 1998.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her friend and caregiver, Felton Cash of Leonard, Texas, a stepson; three nieces; many cousins and a host of other friends.
