Phillip Bryan Ashmore passed away on June 12, 2003 in Oklahoma City in an automobile accident. He was born July 9, 1971 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the youngest of Phillip Ashmore and Doris Hughes.

Bryan was a happy, affectionate and a tenderhearted person who loved his family dearly. He liked pick-up trucks, ball caps, OU football, country music, fishing and Grandma’s cookies. He was very proud of his Choctaw heritage.

He was preceded in death by a son, son Garrett Alan Ashmore in 1993.

Survivors include his wife, Jaida, and two daughters, Morgan and Molly, of the home; father, Phillip Ashmore and wife, Kathy, of Glenpool; mother, Doris Hughes of Ft. Gibson; sisters, Ralana and husband, Frank Byrd, Jr., of Warner, Oklahoma, Vanessa Hughes of Ft.Gibson and Angela Ashmore of Glenpool, Oklahoma; brothers, Michael Ashmore and wife, Jacque, of Yukon, Oklahoma and Jeff Clark and wife, Megan, of Oklahoma City; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Ashmore of Warner, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Joe Torix of Ft. Gibson and Tom and Sammy Upton of Oklahoma City; great-grandmother, Mrs. Effie Clay of Muskogee; three nephews, five nieces, aunts, uncles and many, many friends.
