Lisa Ledbetter Arthur, 38, passed away Thursday August 7, 1997 in a Wichita Falls, Texas hospital.

Mrs. Arthur was born June 27, 1959 in McAlester, Oklahoma. She was a 1977 graduate of Burkburnett High School and a Midwestern State University graduate. She worked as a medical lab technician at Wichita General Hospital. She was a longtime resident of Wichita Falls.

Her late great-grandmother, Minnie Robinson Shockley was an Original Enrollee. During many years of afflictions and illness, she was greatly encouraged by the knowledge that her great-grandmother had likewise suffered and demonstrated great strength as a Choctaw.

Survivors include a daughter, Heather Kae Ledbetter of Portland, Oregon; her parents, Ronald Ledbetter of Wichita Falls and Bette Morrow of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Carole Holman of Glendale, California, Oman Bogart of Wichita Falls and Stacey Terry of San Diego, California; two brothers, Michael Ledbetter of Tulsa and Todd Ledbetter of Wichita Falls.
