Frances Eugenia McClain
Frances Eugenia McClain, fourth child of Susan Moncrief and James McClain, was born August 25, 1844 in Sumter County, Alabama. She married Lyman Moore, Sr. of Creek Indian descent. They lived at Oak Lodge where he operated a general store and County Clerk. Their children were: Gertrude, Edgar Allen, Lyman Richard, Louis Oliver, Herbert McClain, Napoleon B., and Lena Belle.
