Susan Stockton Susan Stockton currently works for the Nation as Senior Executive Officer of Administration. She worked for the Nation since 2011 and prior to that, she served the Nation as a human resources strategy consultant. Susan also worked or provided consulting services to a variety of organizations including Mary Kay Inc., Shell Oil Co., Inet Technologies and Avaya Inc. Susan earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University with additional studies in Finance and Accounting. In her professional career Susan achieved certification as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) as well as Certification in International Compensation (CICP). She is also certified as a DDI Targeted Selections Recruiting Instructor (DDI-TS); MBTI Administrator; and certified as a HOGAN Personality Assessment Administrator and BrainStyles Decision Making Administrator.

Family is a top priority for Susan. She, and her husband Duane, devote much of their time in caring for their elders and extended family. They enjoy attending family events, hiking, fishing, watching wildlife and generally enjoying Mother Nature. She also enjoys scuba diving and some day wants to write children’s stories. She’s been active in promoting programs that support elders and children.

Past honors include Outstanding Young Woman in America, Recipient of the Jake Award for Best Community Service Program, and ACHE Exceptional Program Award for Choctaw University. Susan has also been featured as a Guest Speaker for several national conferences and has lectured at the Global Diversity and the Society of Human Resources Conferences. She also speaks to university students discussing Life After College with graduating seniors. Susan is a member of the Women’s Advisory Board for Texoma Medical Center and past Board Member for Ultimate Health Matters LLC. She is also a member of the Society of Human Resources and past member for the Board and Executive Council for Human Resources. Susan serves on several Choctaw Nation committees including Compliance & Ethics, Employee Benefits, Information Technology and Operations Committee. Susan believes in valuing diversity and richness in all cultures. Seeking to understand the other person’s perspective can truly enrich our lives.
