My grandmother was born on the reservation in Oklahoma, later moving to Kentucky and eventually Alabama. Her mother (my great grandmother) was Mamor Parker (Parker was her maiden name), her brother was Melvin Parker, and a younger sibling named Lucy Parker (who died in 2008 at the age of 96)….
