My wife’s 3rd great grandfather, Jeremiah Gardner (1790 – 1850) and his son William A. Gardner (born Oct 1828 along the Tom Bigby River) were on the Trail of Tears. Are there any records available that may say exactly which one of the forced marches they were on? Is there any way of identifying exactly where they lived, came from, along the Tom Bigby River?

Thank you.
