I’m looking for information on two towns my wife’s ancestors called home. They’re both on old maps of the Choctaw Nation. I’m curious if they’ve been abandoned entirely or simply renamed.
I’m looking for the towns of Janis and Goodwater.

janis is in mccurtain county.
