i found no records that say anything. this is why you need to order vital record documents.
maybe you are confused. i am a volunteer, am not a member of the tribe and i don’t work with the tribe. i don’t live in oklahoma. i don’t think the tribe reads this messageboard.
if you want to know what your records say, you will have to contact the tribe directly.

here is the index of names of applicants on the dawes roll taken 1896-1906 in the indian territory/oklahoma.
if you want to see the family group, click on the # in the card column after you find a name.
then you can go to the oklahoma historical society website and see if they are enrolled

this name seems like it is common.
