Oon-Ka-La

Hello all,

I am looking for any information on an ancient priestly order called the “Oon-ka-la”. They maintained a temple called the (tashka tcuka) or “House of warriors”. The temple was located on the bank of what is now known as Cushtusia Creek in Neshoba county Mississippi. This priesthood spoke and performed rituals in a language that is unknown to our tribe as stated by most historical records. As such, I am having great difficulty finding information about them on the internet and other such publications. Any further information would be greatly appreciated.
