Youth Advisory Board Vision: Healthier Youth

The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) Mission Statement: YAB will promote healthier lifestyles among the youth in the 10 1/2 counties of the Choctaw Nation by investing in and utilizing them as valuable assets through education and communication.

Would you like to join the YAB?

We would love for each and every student that would like to be a part of the Youth Advisory Board to have that opportunity! However, there are certain requirements:

1. A Choctaw Nation Youth Tribal Member or Non-Tribal youth ages 8th - 12th grade students.

2. A youth residing in the 10 1/2 counties of the Choctaw Nation with interests and commitment to the youth of the Choctaw Nation.

3. An individual with leadership skills displayed in their everyday life, it is often an thankless job, involving countless hours of effort and attention.
