Community Based Social Work

The primary mission fo the CBSW Program is to enhance the well-being and meet the needs of Choctaw families and other Native Americans by empowering individuals who are vulnerable, eppressed and living in poverty. The CBSW Program offers social services to families by evaluation the needs of the home and assisting the family as a unit to function more adequately through community resources. The services provided by the Choctaw Nation Community Based Social Work Program to Native American families consists of information about tribal, state, and federal resources, we assist with applications taking, follow-up and follow along services.
