John Granville McIntosh, 81, passed away January 5, 2005, in Norwalk, California. He was born April 4, 1923, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Mr. McIntosh served his country faithfully in the Navy Submarine Service. Later he began a career in public education and taught for 25 years, working primarily for ABC Unified School District. During this time John also owned his own film processing lab, Bison Laboratories, filming high school and college football and basketball games. He operated this business for over 20 years. Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Ruth Anne McIntosh; his five children, Bill, Susie, Christine, Jeannie and Mary Jane; six stepchildren; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Lucinda.
