Wanda Geraldine (Bullock) Hayslip, 56, of Coalgate, Oklahoma passed away Friday, June 23, 2000 at the Carl Ablbert Indian Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. She was born November 22, 1943 at hugo, Oklahoma to Lewis Gerald and Opal Alene (Colley) Bullock. She attended school at Davenport, Oklahoma and graduated from Stroud High School. She also attended nursing school in Oklahoma City. She married Joe C. Hayslip in 1986 at Antlers, Oklahoma. Mrs. Hayslip was affiliated with the Pleasant View Freewill Baptist Church and the Cornerstone Praise and Worship in Coalgate. She was a homemaker and had worked many years as a nurses aid. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Karla McGuire. Survivors include five children, Kevin McGuire and wife, Rene, of Middletown, Ohio, Kim Featherstone and husband, Jimmie, and Joseph Hayslip, all of Coalgate, Deeann Strickland and husband, David, of Caddo, Oklahoma and Kelly Trammell and husband, Johnnie, of Greenville, Tennessee; her mother, Opal Cogburn of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Chelsey and Lance Featherstone and Tyler and Brandon Wolfe, all of Coalgate, Nicholas Strickland of Caddo, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Andrew McGuire, all of Middletown, and Karley and Joshua Trammell of Greenville; one sister, Beverly Bishop of Oklahoma City; one brother, Charles Mooney of Jones, Oklahoma, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and dear and loved friends.
